Fleet Services provides maintenance services for all City-owned vehicles with the exception of the Fire Department equipment; provides supplies such as oil and fuel, maintains a preventive maintenance program for motorized equipment, and makes both major and minor repairs as required.

The department furnishes technical information and prepares specifications for vehicles and equipment purchased by the City. The department maintains a replacement fund to finance the replacement of equipment for the various departments.

The department maintains all of the City’s two-way radio equipment and cellular phones.

The department also operates and maintains the City Hall parking lot. Pool cars are available for City Hall use.

The Building Maintenance division of the Fleet Services Department performs maintenance, repairs, and remodeling services for all City real property. Major repairs to buildings and equipment are outsourced to local firms.
